Waste generated from wine making facilities will be acidic or alkaline depending on the stage of the wine making process. EPA legislation requires this waste be within permissible pH limits prior to discharge to drain or onto the land. A pH correction system is therefore necessary to ensure the pH of the discharged waste is within these limits.
